MOBILITY RENTALS
at the Women’s March on Philadelphia

We’ve made arrangements with Marx Medical Equipment so that you can rent a wheelchair, scooter or other mobility device ahead of time and have it delivered to the March with a 15% discount.

The pick up area will be at Spring Garden and Pennsylvania Avenue close to the stage, ADA seating and drop off area.

Rentals at this point (after 2 pm Friday) are on a case by case basis, and Marx will not have chairs for rent at the March site due to low demand.
Call Marx at (215) 426-9242

Be sure to specify that you are attending the Women’s March on Philadelphia and  give your name, phone number, and email address so they can contact you for follow-up questions to fit you with your exact equipment needs.

Marx may also have a limited number of wheelchairs and scooters available for same-day rental, for those with last-minute needs, but that will be dependent on how many advance reservations they receive, so if you expect to need a rental, be sure to call in advance.

If you need to pick up a rental closer to Suburban Station, Mr. Wheelchair may be able to meet your needs.  Contact them at 215-333-7303

Disability March

The Disability March is “an online movement that gives people with disabilities and chronic illnesses a way to actively participate in the event via the internet.

The Disability March site includes prompts for interested participants to submit their names, photos and statements.” The info goes live on the website and is also visible on the Disability March’s twitter feed @DisabilityMarch, creating a virtual archive of participants.”
